1950 Mercury 2dr Coupe - Flathead Powered Car was redone in the early 1990s into a lead sled style custom. Some cool modifications include the hood being decked, frenched headlights, and custom inset taillights, elimination of side trim and handles. Custom pinstriping was applied on hood, doors (Rebel), and decklid. The top was left unchopped. Overall, a very nice driving car with a subtle balance of customization. Work done and new parts installed in the last 6 months: -Lowering kit installed to get just that right stance -New chrome steelies and new radial whitewall tires from Coker -New Navarro flathead intake and heads -Two new Stromberg carbs -New Powermaster generator appearing alternator -Plugs/Wires -Replumbing of fuel lines in engine bay -New gas tank -Overall tune up, fluids, brakes checked, etc. -Seat belts added in rear seat area. The car has the right look and presents very well. Paint has some chips here and an area or two of cracking. Floors look beautiful underneath. Chrome is also largely pretty great, though rear bumper could be replated (I'm picky) as it has some slight surface rust spots and crazing to the finish in areas. If I was keeping it, I'd put a headliner in it and drive the wheels off it. The front seat drivers side was replaced with an electric slide frame which doesn't operate, but is slid all the way back. Pass side is manual slide. Drive it, show it, enjoy it. Selling to fund another old car purchase. Revised Price: $26,000.00 507-301-9053 located in Southern Minnesota
