Selling for a friend… send me a message if interested 1950 Mercury Coupe Old school kustom that has been done since 1989 and driven around America. The car shows and shines good but it is showing its age. Recent freshening of fuel system, front brakes. Body: Door handles were removed, hood and trunk smoothed, Hood corners rounded, 51 skirts, 52 Desoto front bumper, 49 Lincoln tail lights, floating corvette grill, and dummy spot lights. Interior: Seats from 65 Cadillac (front seat is power but never wired in), 49 Merc dash, 59 Olds steering column and wheel and vintage stop light mounted for third brake light. Drivetrain: 406 Ford with 3 dueces, C6 transmission, the lowering is static with stock front suspension other than the springs and possibly spindles swapped. The rear is 1980 10 bolt Camaro with leaf springs, the master cylinder replaced with 53-56 Ford truck for better pedal and stopping. Carburetors recently rebuilt and tank flushed, Front brakes and wheel cylinders rebuilt.
