Technical 1950 shoebox front suspension

    Plenty familiar with newer suspension but is there any way to achieve a 5” drop in the front without dropping $1200 on dropped uprights? I flipped them but apparently it’s not the right move since there is absolutely no adjustment phone will not load pics due to size

    When you flip them you have to heat and bend them to get them into alignment

    Aerostar springs with the caster adjustment blocks and 1” spacers between the lower A arm and shock mount. 4 1/2” drop right out of the box and will settle to around 5”

    plan to run stock width wheels to be able to clear inner lip of fender for steering

    You make them or have them made. The simple way is to use a Length of 1 inch bar stock or a length of 1 inch heavy wall square tubing and use the lower spring pocket as a pattern. With tubing you would want to sleeve the holes for the bolts so you didn't crush the tubing.
