1950 shoebox

Will a aftermarket nova oil pan solve the steering problem with a small block chevy in a shoebox.

Or you can cut and drop the center link. But then it becomes the lowest part hanging under you car.

 

i cut my center link and dropped it works totally well but.. you have to use a short oil filter or a remote oil filter.... I took the remote filter approach!!
