after doing some research....i am still clueless........does anyone know if there were steel fender skirts produced for the 1950 stude commander. I have found a pair of fiberglass ones, but would like to have steel. ANY PICS??

  2. They did make them , I believe as a dealer installed option. I am using 1952-54 Ford skirts on mine. I think they look better than the stock Stude one's. They go down even with the bottoms of the quarters, cover the tire better. They do need a little bending on the knee to match the body contour.-MIKE:cool:
