I think he bit off more than he could handle. Would be great to see it finished.

Seems the fella bank rolling it had to retire early and is facing a plan that wasn't his
Haven't we all sold a car off we didn't want to?
This is the same scenario at a scale most of us only dream of

  5. It is hard for me to understand the financial situation that would allow one to spend 293 grand on a project, but yet be in a financial panic because of early retirement. I doubt that I will have 10% of his expenditure in mine and if I had a surprise $5000 to come up with, it could be done. BTW I was forced to retire because of medical issues (no income for 2 1/2 years) and I don't have to sell my project. (wife still works)

have seen bits a pcs photos of this for a few years. very well done. beautiful job. but can t rap my head around the 3208.

  7. 3208 probably isn't any crazier than my 6v53 Detroit, but I can rebuild the Detroit for about 2 grand.
I have the feeling someone is padding the bill on that whole build. WTF, am I supposed to feel sorry because they are idiots and pay more for the project?
