I am putting in a 327 chevy in my 51 pickup and seem to be having a real problem trying to figure out how to make room for the manifold and plugs next to the steering box. The box is in the way. Any suggestions?

there is a few V8 swap chevys here look around a little bit and see what you find "search"

worst case you slide your engine and trans over to clear the box.

You can move the box out a little by using spacers and longer bolts. It does angle the steering column though but probably not enough to be noticeable if you don't need to move the box too far.
