Selling my much loved car, Faye the Chevrolet. Not interested in trades. She is a 1951 Chevy Styleline Deluxe. I've done A LOT of upgrades to her over the years, and she's a reliable fun car that you can totally enjoy as-is with patina, or do a little aesthetic work to take her over the finish line. When I bought her she was a completely stock 51. She was completely restored in the 80's by a retired GM employee for a museum in Ocean City, Maryland (Wheels of Yesterday). The museum sold her to a private seller, and I bought the car from him. I have all the things that the museum gave him when he bought it. The museum tracked down almost every accessory that was available for this car. I have most of those things still. I bought her to be a cruiser, and mild custom. This was my first car project and I did many of the upgrades with the help of HAMB folks, and my Dad and his car friends. She is a reliable, fun car and I've taken her lots of places and she rarely left me stranded. (Even then it was minor and a quick fix) Things I changed: Engine swap- She now has a rebuilt 327 V8 out of a 66 Impala Trans swap- 350 turbo trans Holley 4 barrel Rear swap (57 Chevy 302 ratio) Front disc brake conversion Rack and pinion steering 12 volt conversion and replaced all the wiring with an EZ wiring system New alternator, battery and HEI New aluminum radiator with auxiliary fan New snow leopard velvet interior (some fading on seat backs now) Electric wiper motor New heater core Radio with CD and AUX in the glove box, speakers in dash and on package tray Window felts up front Diamondback classic radials with wide whites Sunk the antenna in the fender Moon eyes gauge panel (volts, temp, oil pressure and gas) Added seat belts in the front and back Glasspack exhaust and chrome tips Car was lowered with dropped spindles/cut coils Mallory HEI Things that need attention: Paint (If she's going to live in a garage, the paint is OK... There's some minor rust. The bottom of both doors will need a re-skin to remove some bubbling. One door is better than the other, but both are pretty minor, especially if you plan to paint it. Small dent on one door Rear window leaks and needs rubber One wing window is cracked. Trunk rubber needs to be glued, but I did buy new rubber and will include it Horns are not installed, but I have them and an after market wolf whistle one Driver's side window crank plastic knob is falling apart Passenger side door release button doesn't work (I just reach in the wing window to open it from the inside) Chrome is decent unless you want perfect. Gas gauge needs a smackin' to read, and should be replaced. Sending unit is fine, the gauge is the culprit Things I'm including that aren't on the car Fender skirts Horns (stock and wolf whistle) Original Chevy hub caps, 3 Lancer hubcaps Spare in the trunk with Diamondback tire Cool accessories that the car has: Golden Gazelle hood ornament Tissue dispenser Stop light finder GM visor mirror with maintenance records 2 spots (not hooked up, but the working kind) Visor Fender Skirts Ms. Metal stainless spiderweb headlight covers Gravel Guards Blue dot lenses More photos at this link. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/cz146095q18pj77wutlu3/h?dl=0&rlkey=lffvgkktc83wtr4dmqj5uppgy
