I'm installing a 351 Windsor in my 51 Ford car and a C4 transmission. I installed an IFS Mustang II type suspension with the rack and pinion steering and a new cross member kit.
I would like some pictures of a installation to aid me. I did a test fit today and it looks like I won't be able to use the front sump oil pan. Before I buy a rear sump pan I would like to hear from someone that has done this installation.

You will need the rear sump. I put a 351W into my '51 F1, and there was not near enough room for a front sump. I am ***uming you have a car, and not a truck, so that info may not be much help too you, but there is not much difference in engine placement between the two.

I probably will be using the stock manifolds for now, if everything fits.

You need the so called Econoline pan from the 1980s - that's what I used on the 302/5.0 in my 1940 Ford Sedan Delivery. I run the stock exhaust manifolds.
