Well I finally got to roll it outside to look at it. My shop is so small and I wanted to see it more than 2 feet away from where I stand. Anyways, I installed Gambino's taildragger four link, finished up my chop, and got the front floors and tunnel in. Next on to the trunk floors. Until then here are the pics.

Very well executed. I like the modest chop, I wish mine was that far along.

VERY nice chop. I noticed in the last picture you are smoothing the seam on top of the 1/4s, can you show how you did it? Thanks

The chop is a small 3 front 4 back. I think it looks best on a coupe. I know many people don't like the look of chopped coupes but if it's modest I think they look good. As far as the quarter seams, I just took a grinder to the original pinch weld ( I guess thats what you call it) down until I had a small valley between the two panels then I laid some 1/8 rod in the valley and slowly welded up both sides of the rod. I then took the grinder and rolocs to it until I had a smooth peak. It took a while but I think it's worth the time.

Are there pictures anywhere of how you did your chop? I think it looks great, would like to see how it was done.

    Chop looks great.

What are you using for the floor? Are they re-pop panels, or something you made?
