    Hello,

Are the four door 1951 Mercury frames exactly the same as the two door model? Or are there subtle differences?

    Thanks

The convertibles & wagons are different than the sedan & coupe. The sedan and coupe should be identical. Ford loved initerchangability.

I think the difference in the convertible frames was extra bracing to help prevent flexing.

If you were closer I think the guy who I sold my 51 Coupe to still has the old frame which is subframed with a rear steer Camaro Stub.
