Ok--your no James Dean---but here is your chance to be close !!! This is a nice 1951 Merc 4-door. The car is just a sweet running and driving little car, that can be driven anywhere in style. The little car was reworked years ago with a little bit of custom work, The car was painted 82 Corvette color, with a 54 chevy grill, frenched 53 Ford headlights, Frenched custom tail lights, shaved hood and trunk with electric opener on the trunk, spotlights. dual exhaust etc etc. The car is the original flat-motor with the working overdrive tranny---it's a dream to drive. There are some scratches etc in the paint--and some very very light bubbles in the corner of both rear doors, but nothing major at all. The car has new Cooper tires, and really is just ready to drive and enjoy. The interior was all redone and is really pretty comfortable ( there is a small tear on the drivers seat back ) The 49 thru 51 merc's are really the holy grail of custom cars---and with this being a 4-door you can own it at pretty much less than 1/2 of what a 2-door would cost--and still have the awesome suicide rear doors---The owner is a car guy--and he can answer all questions you have---is the car worth more--yes I think it is--but he wants his money back and wants to let the car go---call Bob 515-689-5214 I do have some other pics of the car also
Nice car that is super dependable and fun to drive---look at the pics and call Bob with any questions-------we have a few more pics if you need to see them. Car will be at the Goodguys in Des Moines for the 4th of July--in the swap meet area---come and take a look/drive
