Technical 1951 oldsmobile, power steering

i cut out stock box and recessed frame .. well i painted myself in a corner . ps box i have is to big . looking at vega and other boxes .. im thinking im not the first to do this, anyone ever do this ?

 

Vega is to lite for your Olds. Maybe a 605 with power. Are one of the newer larger boxes. 525 was used on early 70,s GM

 

you can get a 525 power box rebuilt thru Rock Auto from Lares.
