I'm trying to find a replacement trunk pan for my Pontiac Chieftain. The only ones I have been able to find do not have the cut out for the spare tire.

Just a guess, but what if you find a replacement pan without the spare tire well and also buy a replacement spare tire well for the same year Chevy? EMS makes the well for Chevies. I do not know if they are the same as Pontiac.

Chevrolet, Oldsmobile, and Pontiac used all the same trunk pans.

as for the trunk pan yes buy the non spare tire pan and make the cut out ( do not forget to look at the peice behind the rear crossmember that joins the body as they do rot out too mine has pinholes ) . as for the channel . better off finding a donor car to get the piece from as they are a pain to rebuild ( as some are double panels and need to be spot welded together , mines not near me so I cannot look at it right away to tell you whats involved .

The sheet metal behind the rear cross member is rusted out. Will the patch panel for Chevrolet Stylelines fit a Pontiac Chieftain?
