Does anyone know how to get a 1951 ford shoebox steering wheel to fit a ididit column thanks

  2. Wasn't the '51 a taper shaft and not splined? If so the only way I know would be to cut the proper taper and keyway on the ididit shaft.

  3. depends on which IDIDIT column you have? The 51' Ford wheel should be splined

  4. If it is splined then all that is necessary is the proper shaft. The wheel or the shaft cannot be resplined.

  5. Yep! Ford splines were all the same for many years, The IDIDIT should be a common spline that fits a Ford
