I have all the history. A Very Unique survivor . 232 cu.in. 3 speed manual trans. It was ordered on June 19th 1951 from Smith Motor Co. of Manteca, California. It was built on June 29th. It might have been the last 1951 Commander Convertible built. Jack Smith the Plant Supervisor and Studebaker Engineer went down the ***embly with this car and kept tabs on it thru the years. The car ended up back in storage at the old Studebaker plant where it was built years later. The car ended up going to a great personal friend of Jack's who had it for years. That is who I purchased it from. The car does run. The Hill Stop needs fixed on the master cylinder. The car has been converted to a floor shift by Jack Smith years ago. The original Red Leather interior is under some vinyl covers made years ago. It is in good condition. Car has some very minor round holes rust in the p*** side floor pan and in one corner of the trunk. The car is very solid and original. This car has never been apart. I have the Build sheet from Studebaker and all the numbers on it and the car match. Car is missing nothing and has all the original patina. Any questions feel free to ask. Reduced to
