    Cool place... last time I was there I was watching the races from under the wing of an airplane called a "Maul"...!
     
  14. Correct...! I've flown and riden in Maul's and Aviat Husky's many times and it's pretty thrilling to pop off from a short field and clear the trees at the end of a cow pasture...!

    It's "Freaky to land on the Dry Lakes" because of the vastness you have no refference points to account for your speed plus you have to be on the lookout for High speed motorcycles and cars crossing your path...!

    I really haven't see aircraft at Bonneville... however El Mirage has a couple of regulars that attend.
