I need an original NOS mechanical fuel pump for my 1952-53 DeSoto 276 Firedome.
If anyone can help me out or point me in the right direction for a reliable source I would appreciate it.
    Thanks!

Hot Heads offers a adapter that lets you use a LA fuel pump.

Seriously (from Wikipedia) : The LA engines are a family of pushrod OHV 90° V-configured gasoline engines built by Chrysler Corporation. It was factory-installed in passenger vehicles, trucks and vans, commercial vehicles, marine and industrial applications from 1964 through 2003 (displacing 273,318,340,360 ci).

Thanks guys. It appears with the fuel pump adapter from Hot Heads you can use the fuel pump off of a 318. I'll see if it works.

Another way to do it is to change the old arm to the new smallblock pump.
Im not sure it works on all pumps but at least on older Mopar stuff it does.

Been problems for at least a decade with OEM type F/Ps. The LA one will solve the problem.
