Can anyone help me out with this? I'm trying to identify my car.
The ID plate says General Motors Canada Limited
    model CHEV NZ53
    serial 2-1069-62531
There's nothing marked against the trim or paint.
The car is a r/h drive and was imported to England from New Zealand back 2000 and something. I've been told it's a 52 but the NZ53 thing makes me think otherwise HELP:eek:

the car pictured in your avatar is definitely not a 53, the body was changed quite a bit that year, yours is the 52 and older style.

2-1069 is something I might expect to see on a 52 4 dr sedan cowl tag. US car would say STYLE 52-1069

On Canadian-built GM vehicles of that era, the first digit in the serial number is the year. Your car is a '52.
