    Hi all,

I have converted my 1952 Chevy pickup to full side glass, that is 1947-50. I am trying to decide how to attach the window wipe (that fuzzy stuff that wipes the glass, I think it's called "beltline") on the bottom of the interior stainless window trim. It used to be held with staples!?!

Could I use double sided trim tape to hold this instead of staples?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I used very small flat headed sheet metal screws on my 50. Worked out great.

It's true that the Cat Wiskers were installed with staples and the Truck and Car Shop of Orange is the only place that I know of that sells their kit with staples. Truth, it's a pain to get those staples on without the correct tool, which the factory had to use. Your best bet is to use adhesive. I used rubber contact cement that I bought at Home Depot. It comes in a old style brown glass jar. I also used it for the door rubber weather strips and for the fender welts.

I used the staples that came with the new material from one of the suppliers. Worked well[IMG]

Thank you sir, you're the second guy that's offered that solution to me today... I'll go with that.
