Technical 1952 Chevy steering wheel

Can anybody tell me if a 1957 Chevy steering shaft will fit a 1952 Chevy steering wheel?

The 52 wheel should fit the shaft. Are the bases of the wheels the same diameter?

 

Should I had a'53 that I put a '59 Impala wheel on

 

Yes should fit fine but the base may not be the same. I put a 59 wheel on my 52 but had to make a base/cup for it to look right.
