My uncle just picked up a 1952 Subrban that he's gonna restore. Anybody have any pics of these things turned into customs? I'm trying to do my best to persuade him to go the custom/rod route with this thing. It just screaming to be lowered, chopped, and get a built 235 stuck in it. I just need some pics to help with the persuasion.

Yeah, like that one with less roof and not as many spokes.

That's sweet. Do you know if they filled in the side windows behind the doors on that one? The one my uncle has is one I've never seen before with glass all the way around.

I had a few pics in my Paso coverage... Those are great rides.. If you want to see clean restored version look in Lowrider Mag, they are very popular right now and most lowriders love to keep them all stock....

Thanks for the pics guys. Now I got some pics to show my uncle of what they can look like finished. I hate to even say this, but for right now just so he can drive it the Burban is gonna get some body work and primer until he can scrape up the money and time to get it done the way he wants. After seeing some of the pics Boones had in his Paso stuff, the restored/lowered approach is looking pretty good. I'm gonna try and talk him into using some color other than black for now. Down here in SW Minnesota you don't see hardly any primered rides so it probably would be ok here for awhile. Not everybody is doing it here yet.

These are both GMC's but you can't tell from the side.
