Technical 1952 ford P/U Door alignment

    So I have run into some trouble with the alignment of my doors they rub at the inner bottom corners "near the firewall" was there originally a bushing or a spacer somewere where the hinge meets the cab? Or is there a trick to getting it straight?

    Loosening the hinge mounting bolts will allow you to adjust the door up/down and in/out a little. To move the door front/back, you need to bend the hinges.

    Ok thanks when it comes to bending the hinge would you do it with a 2x4 and a floor jack? Also will it require heating the hinge first or is it fine cold?
