Technical 1952 ford

Hi, I have my grandpa's 1952 Ford 215 inline 6. It is his old stock car motor. What newer transmission can I put behind it. Thank you.

 

The 215 used the same trans as the flat head V8. So if you have the OE 215 bell housing you could use one of the many V8 adapters for different trans combos

 

The factory optional overdrive for those 6's is very good for highway driving if you can find one.
