I've had this for about a month, getting the steering end and braking bits straightened out. While it sat I did some minor stuff like steering wheel replacement, spotlight removal (they did not work), and some other little things like horns and lock repair. Got a short list of more to do, but it should be on the road as a weekend driver in about a week. Not going full resto, just "dependable jalopy" for now. Love the H.A.M.B. and the rest of the site. A great place to learn about this condition I'm suffering from. These pics are the way I got it 4 weeks ago. Chevy 283 & th350 trans, 12 volt conversion. More pics as it comes along.

I'm envious! that's a very clean ride that I wouldn't be ashamed to be seen around town in. Enjoy the drive! I'm amazed at how many of those early '50s 4dr Pontiacs are out there, I know of three here, and probably more that I don't.

Thanks Rusty & Carguy - this one came from your neck of the woods - Nashville. Surprisingly very little body rust. It's getting better as I go, a little at a time.

  5. I got a 1950 Pontiac. I'm from outside of Nashville. I don't recall ever seeing your Poncho. Goes to show you you never know what is in your backyard.

I'll have to remark because Pontiac's don't seem to get a lot of love. Only suggestion I would make is Pontiac Power at some point.

  7. Nice clean '52, I'm working on a '52 super deluxe hardtop.

Very nice. I have a 50 4th myself. I agree on Pontiac power. Nice interior color.
