i've working on mild custom shit to a 1953 ford 4door...I've recently De-chromed the entire car and getting ready to start fillin' holes and smoothing her out.

    MY QUESTION IS:

There is a chrome accent trim pressed into the front and rear window seal (the seals still look pretty good) as I started pulling it out I realized there is a lip on the trim the goes under the glass DOES THE CHROME TRIM LOCK IN THE GLASS or IS JUST A NON FUNCTIONING ACCENT PIECE.

    Thanks

it is just eye candy.but you will have to remove windshield to get it out of seal.

  5. There is a groove in the rubber seal that the chrome trim is encased in.The chrome trim is installed in the groove before you put the rubber seal in the window opening.
