Started to chop the Buick today. It is a 1953 Buick Special. It has 4.250 taken out of the front and 6.000 taken out of the back. Will keep ya posted as I work on it. Sorry for the shitty pics they were done with my phone.
Boy that looks like a nasty chop, better you then me. But those roofs scare me. That thing is gonna look sweet when finished. I like the proportions.
looks good,I love 53s..first car I drove was my dads 53 Super,when I was 12..guess he liked it,too,he kept it far longer than any other car he had...replaced/fixed the Dynaflow 3 times that I can remember..Good luck,more pics as you go along,please
Looks good. are you going to counter sink the rear window or use one from another type car. I remember the guy from sacred karts that had a chopped post car. Looked really good. TP
Keep us posted, I have a 54 and the rear windown scares me when I think of chopping it!!! Looks good...
