Thanx soooo much for the kind words guys!!!

    Well, here's a little update!

Like i said before i wasnt happy with the bottom of the window, it was too high so the nice flow i had totally broke off at the bottom ruining the whole thing!!! :(

I left the window in the same position and made a relief cut all the way to the middle of the door and dropped the whole thing 1 1/2". I redid the sail panels, what a bitch that was!!:( there's so much going on in these panels in all different direction!! Got them done........3 fucking days!!!

    here's some pics!!!

unfortunately i had to cut the beltline to make this chop work where the window is situated.... im making a cool beltline though , out of 3/16 and 1/8 round rod!!

    Looking really good Ian,
From following all of your threads and watching your work progress on here you always seem to do your best and give it your all.Which is a very nice attribute to have, especially when dealing with other people's cars.Much respect to you for that man.

  9. Ian, that has some great lines, excellent excellent chop!!!

  10. That last redo on the rear window was a huge help. I wasn't much caring for it in the first stage, but I wouldn't have said anything. But since you brought it up, cool chilly beans. Looking extra fine. Anybody got some balls for sale? Perhaps I can buy some and atempt this on my car.

As I said before great clean workmanship. What are the plans for the belt line ? Put it back or just fade away ?

Thanx a bunch guys!!! Im pretty stoked and i can relax now, i was so stressted about making this window work. After i dropped to window the bottom corners were so low i was afraid it wasn't gonna work since the beltline was pretty much at the same level as the corners making it really flat. So that's why i decided to cut the beltline. I am using two different size round rod and I'm gonna wrap them all the way around using the bigger one at the bottom and the smaller one at the top, hard to explain the design i have in mind but it'll work great and it's gonna be custom. pics to come early next week!!

    a couple more pics!

You guys rule!! Im glad you like it!!!:)

I'll post pics tonight, i finished the beltline and the welded all the seams. I'm gonna do a little lead today to clean up the small imperfections to make it flawless. I can't wait to get my TIG so i can achieve a better finish, using hammer and dollie, MIG is too hard and you can only work it so much before it cracks!! :(

    Hey Ian,

Tig, schmig! Pick up an oxygen/ acetylene rig, a #00 #1 & #2 torch tip and teach yourself to weld! You can shrink, cut, heat, lead and weld with a torch. A squirt gun welder (mig) is for collision repair and use by ''puttyflingers", not serious sheetmetal work.

    Awesome as usual, Ian!

How many hours do you tie up, in the average chop?
