I have just bought a 53 chev belair all stock i woulld like to put a 350 and 350 trans i want to change front end to mustang independent front suspension with the bigger brakes and i have bought a s-10 4x4 rear end from a 99 blazer with disc brakes. Can i cut the spring perches off of the rear end and re weld them out three inches where the would line up with 53 leaf springs?

You may get ripped for not posting an intro but anyway try chassis engineering they got all the parts you need.

Welcome from Indiana, and I don't see anything wrong with your build.
