Does anyone know if you can retrofit self adjusters onto 1953 Chevrolet front brake drums? I have done a google but have come up short of an answer. Thanks for the help.
im thinking ive seen a kit that does just that...dont know where i saw it though...id check speedway,they seem to always have that kindof stuff. Troy
Yes ! Use the parts off a 66 up full size Chevy. You may have to drill a hole or 2 in the shoe. The rear shoe of the 66 up is the same as the 53 front so worse case get a shoe like that for a guide for the holes.
