Technical 1953 Ford flathead T5 conversion

Kato, I have a reference chart that shows T5 front to tail lengths. Mustang is 628.2mm and S10 is 635.3mm. I guess the difference is small enough to not matter. Next chance I get I'll discuss with my transmission guy.

As for Steve, belly-****ons.

 

That will be my very last swap.. The rear end gears that I have in 53 will probably only get me around town. Any idea on a good ratio and out of what car that will get me at highway speeds?
