Hello all we are looking to pickup a 1953 Ford Mainline 2 Door in a week or so, I was planning on just doing the lower spring plate spacer kit and also Aerro Star Coils in front and 4" blocks in the rear. But was wondering if anyone has the actual Moog or equivalent part number for the Coil Springs to order?

"CC850" for the Aerostar springs. Some guys (who don't want to go so low) have used "CC851".

Another question I had was if there is a part number for a floor shifter?

It's more of a resale thing, we have 7 cars with 3 on the tree.

The floor shift conversion shows up on Ebay once in a while - more rarely now days - a few guys on here have made up their own - you might try a search on here.

As long as it's not an OD transmission, there are several generic shifters currently available that can be made to work. They're mostly cheap imported crap that need major effort to work right. Probably good enough to get you by until you find a proper Hurst shifter.

"Bludice" - You're right about the eBay thing; I used to grab every one that came available at a reasonable price. I haven't seen anything at all lately (except for a couple that must have been made of solid gold!).

The seller dropped off the face of the planet, bought a 62 Falcon instead.
