has any one done a up grade steering gear latey? and a power steering gear with the flat head. seen some gm boxes installed before but would like to see new info.
well raybug here has been keeping a secret i found out. need to have him verify this. but he told me he is running a p.s. gear off a ford truck on his like a 67-79 2 wd. with an adapter plate he orderd somewhere. its just the jeep/delco boxs are plentifull. borgeson sells a modified delco box that bolts right on . just have to see if someone makes a braket kit for a pump, im sure they do.
you are correct the adapter plate came from butches cool stuff .com you use the pittman arm off the truck heat the end of it and bend it straight and bolt it on works great 67-79 ford truck make your power steering lines and enjoy if you have any questions just give me a call 865-256-4677 im ray.
