    Friends!
As i understand, theres at least 2 different front fender styles for the 53 Plymouth. One style has turn signals in the profile and one style has round turn signals under the profile. But Are they the same/interchangeable?
    Thanks
    Lars

  2. The "turn signals in the profile" style fender was on the 1953 Plymouth while the "round turn signal" style was used for the 1954 Plymouth. That was true for the USA but export styles may have been different. I suspect that the fenders are slightly different for each style but would probably fit. Except for trim, the 1953 and 1954 Plymouths were very similar to each other.

I found these round ones for my '54. I believe they were for Dodge pickups. Worked just fine for these. Front 14.JPG

Well, I've got them wired for turn signals. The original ones were damaged, and I found these at a swap meet, labeled "Dodge Pickup". They looked like the originals -- perhaps the 53's are different (or Chrysler could be saving money by cross-dressing).
