LOL...I've always been taught if you're going to take on a "project", then you should deliver more than the client asked for...and that's the way I've lived my life...

  3. If you're thinking seriously about changing the sheetmetal of your car, you need to look at the design as a whole. This guy James D is pretty amazing, if you are serious and not just playing around you could give him an overall photo.

Significant changes need to be melded into the overall look of the car- or they could look "pasted on". But it's your car.

if you did something like mrjynx posted, maybe 49 buick taillights would work,,,i've always loved them and thought they'd look great in a pontiac or chevy,,

I think you could round them off, and put the pontiac tail lights back on.

the last pic almost looks like '49-51 ford windsplit style taillights.

I think i've narrowed it down to just two now (for the time being, it will probably change lol). I really like the '54 merc taillights and I really like the idea on the last photoshop (kinda looks like '49-51 ford taillights). Those are my picks.

you want another photoshop doing with ford tail lights? i had a look for some to photochop but didnt quite know which ones you meant.

I found this tiny picture of (i think) some on a mercury rear.

but I dont know if theyre ford, or buick turned sideways.

and also this bit of concept art, which is close.

I was thinking the basic ford shoebox style taillights with the windspits on the side grafted into the poncho rear quaters. Thank you for all your help!!!

Without that hump, its just another damn Chevrolet rear quarter. Embrace the Pontiac styling and make subtle yet highly STYLISTIC changes.

You aren't trying to be like everyone else...........ya dig?

Dark blue with a butter cream interior and red highlights ie. wheels behind caps is my ALL TIME favorite color combo. Reminds me of a Dick Tracy double breasted gangsta gangsta suit.

  28. You should rock the poncho. Keep the trunk and hood trim. and rock the quarter panel 'hump.' i dont get why people get these models and turn them into chevys, or remove all the cool trim pieces that make pontiac different. these cars are out there in lower numbers than the pre 55 chevs and fords from what i see, rock it.

  29. Is that the car the guy kept selling parts off and kept cutting the price on as he sold the parts?
