I did a search for posts about it but didn't see any so with that said, What is the best company to use for Rear window rubber seal? Chevs of the 40's doesn't have mine. I had a link on my old computer for a company that does strictly weather strips but alas that's long gone. 406451313_24342700255344889_780447288506532412_n.jpg

  8. National Chevy has the rubber. I bought some off eBay several years back and they worked perfect. It for a 150. Precision brand I think.

This is from Bel Air auto parts.
"1949 Chevy Front License Plate Guard

This 1949 Chevy Front License Plate Guard pictured here, was only found on the 1949 Chevy when delivered from the GM factory. Hotrodders and Custom Car fabricators soon realized this license plate guard made a perfect addition to the rear of Hotrod and Custom Cars when fabricators wanted to eliminate the stock bumper guards and shave the bumpers.
This was in the peak of the custom car era which was the late 1950’s till the mid 1960’s. Those were the days.
Today they are being reproduced and are still very popular.
I promise you will not be disappointed with this guard.
Please keep in mind; to mount one of these guards on anything other than 1949 Chevy, you will need to drill mounting holes. But the contour is correct for all the Chevy bumpers from 1949-1954 and other bumpers not listed here.
