    Looking for recommendations on air filter/intake kits for 1954 Plymouth Belvedere. I noticed the car did not have an air filter, must have been taken out by the previous owner. Can not find any listings on any auto parts stores. Any info would be appreciated.

    If it stock it should have a oil-bath aircleaner.
    No filterchange, just clean and change oil.

    If that is indeed the case. ( I was picturing a naked carb. ) A common 'option' in the day,
    I wish to caution you this.
    No bare fingers inside the unit.
    The metal stamping process left seam edges that work as good as a steak knife.
    Use rags and gloves to wipe out the dirty gritty oil

    Don't put one of those tiny chrome air filters on it. They choke the engine.
