I was just starting the new parts search to get an idea where to go and what to expect (project start is still several months away). While looking at several choices for wagon window gaskets (seals, whatever), the part will say "except woody." I know that there are some folks on the HAMB that have posted on their Chevy and Pontiac wagons and that some people them "tin woodies."

Was there a true woody, or when the time comes, do I just order and hope for the best? Where did the rest of you get your "soft seals" at?

    Thanks

The last wooden station wagon built by Chevrolet or Pontiac was 1949.
