Hello All. I am a Double Newbie, to the H.A.M.B and as an Owner of a 1954 Chevy 3100 in remarkable condition. Found it garaged for 20+ years. It used to be a CA Forestry Service Vehicle. The 2nd Owner bought it with his Retirement from said Service and the 3rd Owner drove it modestly to work every now and again before parking it and forgetting about it. I am now the 4th Owner. I shall have pictures and question coming very soon. I am a Novice on these vehicles but have a great group of friends with Wrenches around to guide me along with the information I’ll gather from here. As far as I know, the 235 6 cylinder ran flawlessly when it was parked. So I’ll start with a Fuel System change out and upgrade. Then move to check body and undercarriage for rust then do a Clear Coat over Patina. Next is Brakes and get the Engine running, hopefully. Great to be apart of this amazing group. Thanks for having me. Talk at you all later.
