1954 chevy dashboard

hello , does anyone know if the 1954 chevy belair dashboards are removable , it loooks like mine is spot welded everwhere . I want to remove it to paint it . Has anyone done this or just paint it in but strip it .?? Thanks for any help , i'm new here so pm or fishtheft67@aol.com please

If you don't see any screws, but you see spot welds, then it's only removable with the right tool....

 

I put a 54 dash in my truck. Its welded in

 

there welded in brotha....at the doors along the windshield and inside/ behind the door area

 

its welded in, but on that bad*** 54 jesse james and the kings of customs did, they cut it out and had it chromed, looks beautiful...check it out

 

Just tape off and paint. Thats how i did mine.
