Hey guys. so i just have a question. live in FL, moving to WA. Inherited 54 Chevy pickup. changing engine and dropping 2-4 inches for first two mods. i know what engine i want but i don't know the best way to lower it all the way around 2-4 inches. looked at a few things but more or less just looking for input and past experiences. thinking Mustang II IFS power steering front suspension and 4 bar rear suspension. any ideas. Thanks

Well if you are doing the Mustang II you can mount it deeper into the truck frame and it will lower the front end. You can also go with some drop spindles in the front. If you are going with a 4 bar you can do a kick in the frame and drop it to where you want it. My 2 cents and I'm sure others will give you theirs......good luck on the build and welcome to the HAMB.....

If you want to stay traditional, put a dropped axle up front and lowering blocks in the rear.
