Hello , anyone know if there are any 1954 Chevy experienced shops or mechanics in the Philadelphia area which are good with window / windshield installs , air ride & c-notch ( not tower) installs and just have good knowledge of these cars with V8 conversion. Most of the shops I talk to won't touch glass installation on these & never have seen let alone installed 54' Chevy air ride or notch. Saw a couple of 54' s at Flemings pumpkin run in jersey , but owners no where to be found , thought maybe a club was there .

I had my red and white '54 bel air h.t. There. I don't know of any shops locally that do that kind of suspension work, sorry I couldn't be more help on that one. I wouldn't think that the glass would be that big of a deal?.

Thanks , the big thing I have with glass is everyone says it's too time consuming , not worth the money to do or just no body has the experience on the older cars . I need window channel , vent windows , regulators & glass done . Can get it done over time , but I'm trying to get this pig done , even if it means having someone else doing some work on it while im making the green . Also a lot of people don't have the space for the car to be sitting in their shop taking up bay space .
