1954 Ford data plate identification

My brother has a 1954 Ford Customline 4-door Sedan. He is wanting to decode the data plate id #s and hasn't found any help on the 1954 Ford website or Fordbarn. Thought I'd ask here.

Body = 73B
Color = M-C
Trim = AM
Production Code = 1K 82A (could 82 be the district code?)
Serial # = U4AG-164461

The car appears to be original in every way except the carpet has been replaced at some time. It's a Customline body with what appears to be top of the line Crestline interior seats and door panels.

I know he would appreciate any help.
