1952-59 Ford 1954 merc engine swap questions

I got a sbf 302 & c4 ****** to replace the y block in my 54 ht. Will the driveshaft have to be replaced?As of now i dont have the stock ds so anyone know what i should look for if not an original 54 ds.Thanks

 

I don't think it will . You will need to find a d/s maker then ask how the want you to get the measurements to make one . You can always save a few dollars and get an Aerostar alum. d/s from a salvage yard to have that one cut down to fit .
