the car has all new jamco springs I believe the rear are 4" drop and the front are the same. it also has 4" lowering blocks out back.

"if anybody has a parts car I am looking for 52 hardtop wing windows I have been told they are stainless and not potmetal"

I have a 53 Victoria parts car. Not sure if the wings are the same.

Brings back the late 50's early 60's. Back in my day, We would put a 58, 59, or 60 Thunderbird front bumper on it and 56 Packard taillights extended rear fenders with a frenched Continental kit. Also added Mercury Turnpike Cruiser skirts. Headlights would be frenched or quad lights either from a Lincoln or 59 60 Chevy mounted vertical.

  17. Looks great! I would suggest covering the glass top with weld paper or something to protect it from the welding sparks/marbles...don't ask me why I know it's important.

Nice profile. Very curious to see how you handle certain aspects, like the A pillar alignment and the rear window opening. Please post whatever progress or in-progress pics you can get, or if you're taking them, I'd love to see more detail stuff, it looks very good. At some point, I want to re-do the chop on my own '53 Ford and using a glasstop roof I've had stored for many years, so I'm very interested in seeing how you handle some of the details here.

the top is just sitting in its place for pics. he definitely won't be welding with it sitting in place.

I will blast a bunch of pics as I get them. I wasn't sure if anyone would be into all the little stuff.
