  2. Kevin,

Since 1st contacting you about a year and a half ago I have my project well underway. Found a '54 Commander that was stored for 35 years, has been stripped, and have installed new tubular controls, Must II steering, brakes, etc etc ... engine under construction is a BBC 489 (454) running Weiand 8-71, rear 4-link /9-inch clip by Art Morrison (not under construction yet), etc etc. It will be what i am calling an over-the-top barely street legal Pro Street car.

I really would like to communicate with you more directly as i have some very specific questions with regard to your radiator, engine setback, brake boost, etc. Although you have an AM ch***is, you have stock sheet metal up front and have faced the issues i need to resolve. I am sure you know there are nearly zero people out there who have put a blown BBC into a '53/'54 Commander. I would really appreciate communicating directly. My email is gbened3996@aol.com Thanks!

  3. Glad to hear your project is coming to life...I'm not the only crazy person who builds a Studebaker. Maybe some pictures of your progress...kind of a historical record for yourself as well as others, who like to see people's p***ion in the works.
I'm possibly going to sell the SUPERBAKER to build/copy my favorite Fuel Coupe Dragster from the 70's

so if you or anyone should be in the market for a Ugly Car...
You can contact me at SOFSE@AOL.COM and maybe leave your phone # and we can talk. I'll help you any way I can.
    good luck
    Kevin
