Wow. What are chances of a manual trans behind it. If all the linkage stuff is all ready done etc. I might have to stay with the OLDS. That's just Cool. Get the paper work if you can.
You don't need that car,,,you don't really want that car...Ok...ill take it...your breaking my arm....lol...good ones are still out there
A big Olds in a Chevy! In the early/mid ‘60s that wasn’t uncommon. I had a ‘56 150 2dr with a 394 and a hydro and a ‘55 CarryAll with the same engine and trans. The big Olds engines were cheap ($50-$75), powerful and there was lots of speed equipment available back then. A good Chevy engine like a 327 or a 409 was expensive, even in the junk yards.
thats awesome pop the drum(s) off and take apart the brake(s) should roll freely afterward(s) w/ good trye(s) besides that , good save . . . . .
Great Save ! If you are missing any garnish mouldings I have the back curved one that is hard to find and a side rear window which are in nice shape. You can have them for FREE if you pay shipping to help with the cause. Might be better if a fellow hammer could relay them and the length of the one for the back window could be an issue Merucryguy
his car is a hardtop. I am sure that long molding is supposed to be stainless on his car and the other molding in the picture is clearly for a sedan
Anyone want this 394? FREE, I picked up a 283 #3756519 Same story it ran good when we pulled it out years ago at least it was stored inside a container
