Projects 1955 buick century

Looking for ideas on a good late model rear end for my 55 buick wagon? Im going to run original engine with 700r4

 

I'm fixing to put a 9" Ford in my 57. Parts are plentiful, dozens of different widths and lug patterns, discs and many sizes of drum brakes available and best of all, I have several in stock, haha.
I need to find a C10 pickup from the 60's to rob the rear suspension arms from instead of starting with nothing and building from scratch.
What 700r4 transmission case will fit the old engine?

 

None bolt on as is......requires an adapter....

I want to see some pictures of the wagon. I have lusted for a 55 Buick wagon for years!

 

You do know that there is a lot of fab to put in an open driveshaft in those cars, don't you? And if you want to be taken seriously, do an intro.

 

I planned on the Bendsons adapter kit for the transmission. They run about $650.

 

Not a great pic but the body is in pretty good shape with some minor floor pan rusting. I have recently added 2" drop spindles from fat man fab.
