Technical 1955 buick issues

I have a 1955 buick, ive tried every avenue to find this out, problem is the door handles on my buick have a swing arm type mechanism that hooks to the back or the handle on the inside of the door then a rod runs from that to the latch, the swing arm needs some kind of fastener or clip to hold it to the handle, I have none of these nor know what they look like can anyone help me, ive been from the filling station to the buick club of America with this and no one seems to have an idea as to what they are
