Here is your chance to own one of the most bad ass vintage street legal race cars on the market! I am listing my 1955 chevy that was formally known as the "sweet1" based out of the Georgia area in the 60a and 70s. It was owned and raced by Hood & Payne back in the early days of the NHRA.

The car currently has a blueprint 632CID big block chevy with an Holley Model 4500, 1,050 cfm, Dominator, 4-Barrel, Dual Inlet carburetor, MSD box, patriot fender well headers, a brand new 6 speed double overdrive T56 Magnum transmission, a 9.3" Oldsmobile rear end with a trophy track limited slip/posi and 4.56 rear gears. I have the dyne sheet for the motor and it made 838.5 Horse and 788.5 foot pounds of torque! This car is not the the faint of hearts, anyone that has asked me for a ride never wants to get back in because it scares everyone with how fast she gets up and goes! I have a SFI approved quick time bell housing, I installed a McLeod RST street twin clutch kit, a McLeod hydraulic throw out bearing and clutch master cylinder kit, the car has a 21.4 pound steel flywheel, and ARP fly wheels bolts. To keep it cool I added a MASSIVE Griffin performance fit radiator with shroud and 2 monster electric fans. I have a 29 gallon aluminum gas tank in the trunk with a Holley red fuel pump.

The car has a UP22 tilt nose. The firewall was pushed back when It was a full race car. It still has IFS with brand new coils and ball joint spacers. The rear end has adjustable triangulated chrome moly ladder bars with leaf springs. The rear suspension is fully adjustable with the brackets that were on it from when it was a race car. Since it was a race car most of its life it has a Lakewood style roll cage in it but I also have a 10 point roll cage kit that I bought but never installed.

The front wheels are ET wheels with 5.60 15 bias ply tires and the Rears are true mags with DOT approved mickey Thompson ET street Radial tires.

I installed disc brakes on all 4 corners with a wildwood brake master cylinder and a line lock for burnouts at the track. I have all the lights working, turn signals, the horn, brake lights, reverse lights, and dome light. It has 2 adjustable Kirkey aluminum bucket seats in the car. the driver has a 5 point harness and the passenger has a lap belt.

This car has a lot of history I just don't have the time to restore it back to its glory days when it was a bad ass drag car. The car does have insurance, current registration, title and I have the pink slip in my hand
If you have any questions on the car my email is Grabowskispeedshop@gmail.com
